■ The role of coffee valve

'TW series' has brought high productivity in the field of coffee filling packaging in our long-year of VFFS experiences. We have featured an article in our blog about coffee and its packaging.

Valve plays an important role with coffee packaging to prevent the bag rupture due to the expansion by carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is generated by the chemical reaction in the process of roasting coffee.

Valve releases only the carbon dioxide gas outside the bag by pressure difference. We have model in our TW series to integrate valve pasting device that functions while the bag is formed. The valves are supplied one by one from the parts feeder and heat- pasted on the film in the process before the film is formed as bag.

...By the way, if you see a surprisingly inflated bag of coffee at the shop, it means it is fresh and aromatic coffee.

To keep freshness, the combination with N2 gas filling device is available. The gusset bottom shaped bag for better appearance coexists with the valve device. Depending on the intended purpose, valve type should be chosen either inner valve or outer valve.

■ The valve pasting device integrated with VFFS machine

The superiority is not only the mechanism of pasting valve to the transferring film, we should mention the bag-making former in our VFFS has a feature that the film is smoothly formed even after valve is pasted.

This valve device has been our lineup as optional for three generations of our TW series from the current model and has been installed at many customer's factory. TAM can integrate such special functions and options with our VFFS. Please feel free to contact us !
